Ronald Acuña Jr. sent a shockwave through SunTrust Park with his two out homer in the bottom of the eight that gave the Braves a momentary 2-1 lead. Then in the ninth inning the joy turned to sorrow as Arodys Vizcaino had his worst performance of the season.
Chad Bell’s surface numbers in 2018 may just terrify the average viewer but upon further investigation it would appear Bell has been the victim of some bad luck and atrocious defense this season. The Braves will gladly give him a chance at triple A.
Last season’s draft for the Braves is turning out to look like a very solid one with the likes of Drew Waters, Kyle Wright and Freddy Tarnok all performing up to par so far this season.
