The action was set to begin with Max Fried vs. Jon Lester but sadly the rain came rolling in just as the game was getting ready to begin. The game has been rescheduled far down the road to August 30th.
Max Fried was recalled yesterday as Mike Soroka hit the 10-day disabled list for the Braves with what the team is calling “right shoulder strain”. Thankfully it doesn’t sound too serious and would seem to be more of just an early season day off for the young right hander with the Braves being able to do that right now thanks to their depth at starting pitcher.
