The Atlanta Braves dropped their second straight game Saturday night falling to the Marlins 3-1. Anibal Sanchez exited the game in the sixth inning due to tightness in his right hamstring. Atlanta’s lone run came on a long ninth inning home run by Dansby Swanson. Luckily, the Braves maintain their three-game advantage in the NL East thanks to another loss by the Phillies.
Brandon McCarthy and Peter Moylan began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday while Shane Carle and Arodys Vizcaino could be right behind them.
