Atlanta Braves News
Julio Teheran overcame some first inning troubles to help the Atlanta Braves to a 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers in the next to last game ever at Champion Stadium. Teheran allowed two first inning runs but settled down and struck out five over five innings of work. The Braves deployed what very well could be their Opening Day lineup. Ozzie Albies doubled and drove in a pair of runs in the win.
Nothing sounds imminent and the Braves may not have actually made an offer but The Athletic’s David O’Brien reports that it is down to Atlanta and Milwaukee for free agent reliever Craig Kimbrel.
