The Braves once again saw a late lead slip away thanks to an eighth inning blow up. Atlanta completes their road trip with a 6-4 record and will enjoy an off day on Monday before opening a three-game set against the Phillies on Tuesday.
Prior to Sunday’s game, Atlanta placed reliever Anthony Swarzak on the injured list due to shoulder inflammation and recalled Chad Sobotka from Gwinnett. The injury is concerning given that Swarzak has dealt with shoulder problems for the last two seasons.
