Dansby Swanson made a rehab appearance at Rome on Thursday going 2-for-4 at the plate. He returned to Atlanta on Friday and is likely to be activated before Saturday’s game.
Luiz Gohara worked 1.2 hitless innings of relief Friday night and is slated to make his first start of the season next Wednesday in place of Mike Soroka. Following that start, Gohara is planning to leave the team to return to Brazil to be with his mother who recently underwent heart surgery.
