Reuniting closer Craig Kimbrel with the Atlanta Braves was a popular theory at the start of the offseason. Kimbrel’s asking price appeared to be more than Atlanta was willing to pay but that market hasn’t yet materialized. Jon Heyman reports that many people around baseball think that the Braves are a team that may be waiting him out and could get involved late.
Atlanta began the offseason with a bang adding Josh Donaldson and Brian McCann back in November. However, it has been a whole lot of nothing sense other than reuniting with Nick Markakis.
