Braves use big ninth inning comeback to split doubleheader with Indians
Atlanta’s struggles continued on Saturday as their losing streak is at five straight after a doubleheader sweep by the Indians. Julio Teheran allowed five runs in just 4 2/3 innings in an 8-4 loss in Game 1.
The Braves fell behind early in Game 2 as Touki Toussaint was tagged for seven runs in just 1 1/3 innings but Atlanta scored five times in the ninth including a go-ahead two-run double by Ronald Acuña Jr. to complete the comeback in an 8-7 win.
