The Braves attempted to blow it multiple times, but stuck with it just long enough to survive in the desert. If you went to sleep during the early part of this game you probably saved yourself some heart disease and blood pressure issues. Needless to say this was a must win for Atlanta as mostly every game is from here on.
A former top prospect moved on from the Braves on Thursday when Dustin Peterson was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers organization. Peterson once known for his slugging prowess had fallen off the “prospect” train quite a while ago.
