Ronald Acuna hit a grand slam and Freddie Freeman added a solo shot as the Atlanta Braves avoided elimination with a 6-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLDS. The Braves used seven different pitchers in order to nail down the victory.
Acuna’s second-inning grand slam gave the Braves a five-run lead and put him into the record books surpassing Mickey Mantle as the youngest player in major league history to hit a grand slam in the postseason.
Following the game, the Braves announced that Mike Foltynewicz will start Monday’s Game 4.
