The Atlanta Braves may or may not make a deal at next week’s Winter Meetings in Las Vegas but they have a list of areas remaining that they are hoping to shore up before the start of next season.
Atlanta signed veteran utility infielder Andres Blanco to a minor-league deal on Friday. Blanco spent last season at Triple-A with the Brewers.
The Braves are one of several teams that are headed to the Winter Meetings looking for bargains. Atlanta already made a splash with the signing of Josh Donaldson and is now looking to plug holes including one in the corner outfield.
