Julio Teheran carried a no-hit bid into the seventh inning and added two hits in a blowout victory over the Mets. Ronald Acuña Jr., Kurt Suzuki, Ozzie Albies and Nick Markakis added homers in the rout of New York as the Braves bats were unstoppable for the entire series.
Phil Gosselin is back with the Braves after being claimed off waivers from the Reds. The centerpiece to the Touki Toussaint trade has come full circle and has been transferred to Gwinnett where he will aim to get something going to eventually help the Braves off the bench.
