Braves News: Another shutout in Philly

BRAVES NEWS

Coming into Philadelphia, a notorious hitter’s park, it would stand to reason that the highest-scoring team in the National League would be in top form. The Braves were unable to crack the Phillies staff however, as Wednesday night saw them shut out for the second time in the three-game series. Jake Arrieta was excellent, going 6 23 innings, while striking seven and walking just one. Braves starter Luiz Gohara ran into some poor luck on the mound, which aided in chasing him after just four innings, but he also walked four batters and allowed four hits.
