The trade deadline proved to be anti-climatic as the Atlanta Braves stood pat as Monday’s 4 p.m. deadline came and went. Atlanta made news on Saturday when they shipped Hector Olivera to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Matt Kemp. However, despite rumored interest in relievers Jim Johnson and Hunter Cervenka, they elected to not make any more moves.
While the Braves were quiet on Monday, they have made several moves over the last couple of months that they hope will have an impact on their future.
