BRAVES NEWS
The Astros jumped out to an early lead on Julio Teheran, with a ground-rule double and two-run homer in the first inning putting the Braves behind 2-0. Kolby Allard followed Teheran, taking over in the third inning and allowing a solo homer with two walks and no strikeouts. A Ronald Acuna solo homer and Sean Kazmar two-run homer accounted for the only scoring by Atlanta on the day.
The Braves have seen a rash of injuries plague the roster early in Spring Training, but good news came across the wire on Monday regarding three players with minor ailments.
