BRAVES NEWS
The Braves jumped out to an early lead in this one, as Ozzie Albies homered on the second pitch of the game to stake Atlanta starter Julio Teheran to a 1-0 advantage. Teheran would surrender that lead in the second inning on an Albert Almora two-run homer, but a Tyler Flowers two-run blast in the next half-inning put the Braves back ahead 3-2. That lead would be erased by a Kris Bryant two-run homer in the bottom half, and the Cubs regained the lead 4-3. In the fifth inning, the Braves inflicted what would prove to be the decisive blow on Chicago, as Jose Bautista belted a towering three-run homer to left, giving Atlanta a 6-4 lead.
