The Atlanta Braves could have a big hole in the starting rotation in the near future, but it may not last long.
Atlanta has had Max Fried as a dependable option in the rotation over the last eight seasons. He developed into an All-Star and was a key piece in the Braves' 2021 World Series-winning club. Sadly, his time with the team could be ending with a massive payday coming this winter in free agency.
If the Braves do end up losing Fried, it would make a lot of sense to fill his spot in the rotation with another lefty.
