ATLANTA -- Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday. Freeman exited Monday night's 9-8 walk-off win over the Giants with a right oblique strain before the top of the fifth inning.
Freeman had played 10 games since returning from a DL stay for a sprained right wrist. He batted 7-for-38 (.184) with two home runs in that span.
Atlanta also announced that right-handed reliever Jason Frasor was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder strain. Frasor has allowed zero earned runs in six games since being signed on July 16.
