Is a reunion in store for the Atlanta Braves this winter?
One of the many themes of this successful decade of Braves baseball has been bringing old friends home. Just in 2024, the Braves brought back Adam Duvall, Jorge Soler, and Eddie Rosario as they attempted to reconstruct their outfield.
As they look to make roster improvements in free agency, it's possible that the Braves could target players with whom they have an existing rapport. That could lead them to re-signing a future Hall of Fame closer to fill out the back end of their bullpen.
On Monday, FanSided's Mark Powell speculated that the Braves could reunite with Kenley Jansen, who was Atlanta's closer in 2022 before inking a two-year, $32 million contract with the Boston Red Sox.
