Julio Teheran is back on the beam of late and will be back on the mound as well this afternoon as the Braves look to win the series against the fish.
Teheran is having a great season so far as he’s already amassed as much fWAR (0.8) through 13 games this season as he had over 31 games in 2018. His ERA sits at just 3.28 and the even more encouraging thing is that he’s struck out 69 batters in 71.1 innings. Teheran’s success can be attributed to him being able to reduce the amount of home runs he has allowed this season as his HR/9 rate is back down to what it was in 2016 when he was worth 3.
