Brian Snitker’s job security over the last week or so resembles something similar to a roller coaster. However, it now looks as though the team is leaning towards picking up his option for the 2018 season according to a report by MLB.com’s Mark Bowman.

Even if Snitker returns, it is expected that there will be changes made to the coaching staff. The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports that bench coach Terry Pendleton and first base coach Eddie Perez are the most likely candidates to be replaced.
