The Atlanta Braves have been looking for a boost for the bullpen and swung a trade with the Houston Astros.
Atlanta acquired reliever Rafael Montero from the Houston Astros for a player to be named later. He's an 11-year big league veteran with a career 4.71 ERA in 324 games. So far this season, he appeared in three games with the Houston Astros and had a 4.50 ERA. He has allowed two earned runs in four innings pitched. He hasn't made an appearance with Atlanta yet.
FanSided's Nick Halden shared a column discussing the deal and he suggested that it could "blow up" in their face quickly.
