Fresh off of a 3-2 home stand, the Atlanta Braves well head back out on the road for a six-game, two city trip that will take them to Philadelphia and Boston. The Braves and the Phillies currently occupy the top two spots in the National League East standings. Atlanta will carry a 1.5 game lead into Monday’s series opener.
Atlanta has taken care of business against the rest of the division with an 18-9 record. In contrast, Philadelphia is just 8-14 against division opponents. The Braves are 6-3 against the Phillies and have outscored them 54-30 along the way.
