Braves head to Colorado for three-game series against the Rockies

Fresh off of a 5-1 homestand, the Atlanta Braves will make their one and only trip of the season to Colorado where they will open a three-game set against the Rockies on Monday. After dropping the first three games of the season in Philadelphia, Atlanta responded at home with a sweep of the Chicago Cubs followed by taking two of three from the Miami Marlins.

Strong starting pitching was the theme of the homestand as Atlanta received good performances from the likes of Max Fried, Kevin Gausman and Sean Newcomb. That has helped offset a struggling bullpen that currently ranks among the league’s worst in FIP and WAR.
