The non-tender deadline for this offseason is 7 p.m. ET on December 2. The Atlanta Braves are going to have some decisions to make on a couple of their arbitration-eligible players. After the additions of infielder Jack Mayfield, LHP Drew Smyly and RHP Charlie Morton, Atlanta has 39 players on the 40-man roster. However, the Braves are not really in a roster crunch, as they have other avenues they could pursue to open up space if they need to. The non-tender process this offseason is more about deciding whether or not to hand out pay increases to players that have struggled, saw their roles decrease or both.
