Going into tonight’s game, Nationals starter A.J. Cole had a short sample size of big-time failure against the Braves and that trend continued as the Braves lit him up for 10 earned runs on their way to a 13-6 victory.
While the Braves stretched out their scoring for the entire game, if you missed the first three innings of this one then you missed a bunch. Unfortunately for us, this included Julio Teheran getting absolutely lit up. Teheran only lasted 2.1 innings and got touched up for five earned runs over that span. This included three runs in the first inning, with two of those coming off of a home run from Ryan Zimmerman.
