LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The Braves’ game Thursday night against the Phillies was rained out in the fourth inning, but Matt Wisler got his work in.
The Braves’ young starting pitcher allowed two hits and two walks in 3 1/3 scoreless innings before play was halted with a runner on base and the score 0-0.
The second of Wisler’s walks occurred during a strange couple of minutes when fans were instructed to seek shelter and began walking up the aisles toward the covered areas of Champion Stadium, as lightning flashed and skies darkened. The teams continued to play before umpires finally halted the game.
