With the trade deadline now in the rear view mirror, the Atlanta Braves have entered the stretch run of the Major League season. Atlanta was pretty quiet leading up into the deadline. They initially struck the day before the deadline acquiring reliever Chris Martin from the Rangers. Then on deadline day, they attempted to further fortify their bullpen with the additions of Mark Melancon and Shane Green from the Tigers and Giants respectively.
