The Braves had one of their worst innings in franchise history as they fell to the Giants 13-4 on Sunday afternoon.
Aaron Blair wasn't very good in his return to the big leagues (4 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 0 BB, 3 K) while Madison Bumgarner kept Atlanta's bats in check. That was to be expected. The Braves trailed 5-3 after six innings thanks to a Freddie Freeman two-run homer and Matt Kemp's sacrifice fly to plate Ender Inciarte in the first.
Then the bottom of the 7th happened.
