Braves drop second straight to Rockies 11-5

Sean Newcomb struggled again as the Atlanta Braves dropped their second straight game to the Colorado Rockies by a score of 11-5.

The Braves struck first in the first as Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies both reached on infield hits to put runners at first and second. Freddie Freeman then hit into a fielder’s choice to put runners at the corners with one out. Nick Markakis then brought Acuña home with a sacrifice fly to left fielder David Dahl to put Atlanta in front 1-0.
