As far as results go, Saturday was a day to forget for the Braves as they ended up dropping both of their split squad games.
R.A. Dickey got the start against the Marlins for the Braves’ home game today and he wasn’t as sharp this time around as he was in his previous start. The Marlins battered him for four runs in the first inning, and he eventually made it through three innings with five runs allowed.
With that being said, he didn’t receive too much help from his defense as three of the five runs were unearned.
