The Braves and Mets both went quietly in the first but the Mets picked in up in the second against R.A. Dickey. Top prospect Dominic Smith led off the inning with a single and then Travis d’Arnaud (Brother of Braves legend Chase d’Arnaud) followed with another single. Then, after a popup, Juan Lagares continued the singles spree which brought the first run in to score. That brought up Gavin Cecchini who, you guessed it, singled to right field to score d’Arnaud. Then mercifully Lagares was caught in a run down and Jacob deGrom popped out to end the inning.
