The Atlanta Braves made a pair of roster moves following Wednesday’s 11-inning loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team placed pitcher Rob Whalen on the disabled list due to a fatigued shoulder and recalled infielder Brandon Snyder and pitcher Matt Wisler.
Wisler made four starts with Gwinnett since his demotion going 2-1 with a 3.71 ERA. He allowed 27 hits in 26 2⁄3 innings, 11 earned runs and three homers. He is scheduled to start Thursday’s game in Arizona.
Snyder also saw a stint with the Braves earlier this season before being designated for assignment.
