Braves bludgeon Pirates 15-1 as young players stand out

While most spring training games aren’t typically “fun”, the Braves found a way to entertain with a 15-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates today. It was one of those games where you don’t know where to begin, because everyone got in on the fun from the pitching, to the bats, and even the base running.

I’ll start with the pitching, as Mike Foltynewicz’s strong spring continued with a great effort. Folty went four scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk with one strikeout, as he kept his spring ERA at a perfect 0.00. This is the kind of spring you had to be hoping for in terms of seeing Folty reach his breakout.
