After a sizable delay in today’s game due to some snow finding its way to Coors Field, the Braves bats brought the heat.
In the first inning the Braves got on the board with a moonshot from second baseman Ozzie Albies who is uber powerful for his size. The Braves were not done there as Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis drew back to back walks in front of Kurt Suzuki who blooped a single to left center to load the bases. Preston Tucker has had a fine year to this point and continued his good work with a laser beam sacrifice fly to center field to score Freeman extending the Braves lead to 2-0.
