In a game that saw both left fielder Matt Kemp and manager Brian Snitker ejected, the Braves downed the Marlins 3-2 behind late clutch hitting from Adonis Garcia and a strong start from Matt Wisler.
After Miami jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on a Martin Prado two-run double in the first, Wisler settled down and gave the Braves six innings of two-hit baseball. The Braves would come back to score the game’s final three runs, two of which were driven in by catcher Tyler Flowers. Adonis Garcia provided the decisive run in the top of the ninth, lining an RBI single into left-center field to collect his third hit of the night and give the Braves a 3-2 lead.
