Braves’ bats held in check in 3-1 loss to Marlins

The Atlanta Braves dropped their second straight game Saturday night falling to the Miami Marlins by a 3-1 score.

Atlanta came up empty offensively for the second straight night. Neither team could get anything going in the early going as Anibal Sanchez and Wei-Yin Chen were in complete control through the first five innings.

The Braves threatened in the sixth with two runners on but Brian Snitker elected to send Sanchez to the plate with two outs rather than going with a pinch hitter. Sanchez struck out to end the inning and the threat.
