Bullpen troubles plagued the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday evening, leading to a frustrating loss at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Less than 24 hours later, the two teams will square off again on Wednesday evening, with Brian Snitker’s club aiming to even the series with a victory.
Kevin Gausman takes the ball for Atlanta and, like the team, he will be looking for a personal bounce-back. The veteran right-hander struggled against the New York Mets in his last outing, allowing four runs (and seven base-runners) in 5.2 innings of work, and it will be interesting to see how Gausman fares in what will be his third start of the still-young season.
