For the World Series-winning Atlanta Braves, the hardware just keeps coming in. Four Braves have won a 2021 Silver Slugger Award, which ties the record for the second-most winners on one team in a single season.
The Braves also had four Silver Slugger winners last year, but only one of those players — first baseman Freddie Freeman — repeated the feat. Second baseman Ozzie Albies, third baseman Austin Riley and pitcher Max Fried each took home the award. This is Albies’ second Silver Slugger Award and the first for both Riley and Fried.
