As expected, the Atlanta Braves have appointed right-hander Bryse Wilson as their 27th man for Wednesday’s doubleheader against the San Diego Padres. Wilson will start Game 2 opposite of Padres rookie Reiss Knehr who will be making his second career appearance.
The #Braves appointed RHP Bryse Wilson as the club’s 27th man for today’s doubleheader. In addition, the team activated C Alex Jackson from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Wilson has made six starts at the Major League level in 2021 with varying degrees of success.
