The Atlanta Braves activated outfielder Eddie Rosario from the 10-day injured list prior to Friday night's game against the visiting San Francisco Giants.
Rosario has been sidelined with an abdominal strain that occurred July 5 when he was a member of the Cleveland Indians. He was injured while running out a grounder.
The Braves acquired Rosario from the Indians at the trade deadline on July 30 along with cash for veteran infielder Pablo Sandoval.
Rosario, 29, batted .254 with seven homers and 46 RBIs in 78 games with Cleveland.
Rosario spent his first six seasons with the Minnesota Twins before signing a one-year, $8 million deal with Cleveland as a free agent after last season.
