The Atlanta Braves made a flurry of roster moves in advance of Friday’s series opener in Cincinnati. As expected, the team activated third baseman Adonis Garcia and reliever Eric O’Flaherty from the disabled list. The team also called up infielder Johan Camargo from Triple-A.
To make room on the active roster, the team designated outfielder Emilio Bonifacio for assignment and optioned pitcher Matt Wisler and utility man Jace Peterson to Gwinnett.
Garcia put up a .237/.278/.348 slash line in 34 games before hitting the disabled list due to an Achilles problem.
