The Atlanta Braves have reportedly acquired closer Shane Greene from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for.
Greene has been lights out this season posting a 1.18 ERA (3.70 FIP) with 43 strikeouts in 38 innings. He has held opponents to a .152 average this season so we can probably expect some regression but given the Braves’ current state of affairs in the bullpen, he will be an added boost. Additionally, Greene is not a rental as he is under team control through the 2020 season.
