The Braves have acquired veteran lefty reliever Jerry Blevins from the Oakland Athletics for cash considerations. Blevins’s contract has been selected from Gwinnett, and Blevins will be active for the Braves in Sunday’s matchup against the Rockies. Wes Parsons was sent down as a corresponding move.

Blevins, 35, is very familiar with the NL East as he spent the 2014 season with the Nationals and 2015-2018 with the Mets.
