Nov. 10—The Atlanta Braves acquired left-handed pitcher Kolby Allard, a former Brave, from the Texas Rangers in exchange for right-hander Jake Odorizzi and cash, the team announced Wednesday night.
Allard, 25, split last season between Triple-A Round Rock and Texas, going 1-2 with a 7.29 ERA (17 ER/21.0 IP) in 10 games out of the Rangers' bullpen. He was 3-3 with a 4.65 ERA (46 ER/89.0 IP) in 20 games, all starts, for Round Rock.
