With the World Series now over, the MLB offseason officially begins for the Atlanta Braves. Below is a look at the 40-man roster as things currently stand heading into the offseason. Atlanta has nine players who became free agents the day after the World Series ended.
Both Brandon McCarthy and Peter Moylan ended the season on the 60-day disabled list. That leaves seven other players who finished the season on the 60-day DL that will have to be added back to the 40-man roster within five-days of the World Series ending.
Additionally, Atlanta has 10 players who are eligible for arbitration.
