It's been a while since the Atlanta Braves had to worry about the San Francisco Giants as a threat. Will that change in 2025?
Atlanta and San Francisco were once division rivals when the National League was split only into East and West, and they've met in the playoffs twice this century, with the Giants going on to win the pennant both times. But in the 2020s, Atlanta has been the vastly superior franchise.
However, the Giants have been constantly looking to make a big signing in free agency the last few offseasons, so if they have any chance at overtaking the Braves, their best recourse could be poaching an Atlanta superstar.
