The Atlanta Braves made a flurry of roster moves on Saturday but activating Brandon McCarthy from the disabled list was not one of them. Turns out there was a good reason for that.
The team announced on Saturday that McCarthy had been returned from his rehabilitation assignment after he re-aggravated his right knee injury. He will remain on the 60-day disabled list.
