Blair struggles, Phillies crush Braves 9-0

The Braves offense managed just five hits on Tuesday afternoon as the Phillies came away with an easy 9-0 win.

Aaron Blair allowed six hits and one walk in four innings of work, giving up three runs and striking out three. Blair’s fastball command appeared to be off at times, often tailing late over the middle of the plate. One positive for him — of his 12 recorded outs, nine came from strikeouts or ground balls.

Philadelphia got the scoring started in the second inning and never looked back. Logan Moore led off with a single to left, and Freddy Galvis lined a one-out single to right to put two runners on.
