Long time Atlanta Braves general manager and current vice-chairman John Schuerholz will take his place among baseball’s greats on Sunday with his enshrinement into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Schuerholz is part of the 2017 class which includes Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines, Ivan Rodriguez and former commissioner Bud Selig.
Schuerholz was the architect of the Braves run of 14 consecutive division titles including a World Series win in 1995. He is the latest member of the group to enter the Hall. Manager Bobby Cox and pitchers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux were inducted in 2014.
